Dear students,

Please be advised that the Office of Student Standards and Conduct is working hard to accommodate the ever-changing situation regarding COVID-19. With campus courses moving online, we will be doing our best to facilitate all conduct matters online and by phone.

All students with outstanding sanctions that require in-person contact (community service hours) will be given an extension. Please be sure to email us if you receive a late-sanction email regarding these. All online sanctions (online courses) will remain the same.

At this time, BASICS 1:1 meetings will continue to happen through the Substance Education and Alcohol Resources office. They will continue in-person meetings as well as work with those students who have elected to return home and are no longer on campus. They can be contacted at alcohol@uark.edu.

Above all, your health is our top priority. Our office remains open and welcomes all emails and phone calls. Please feel free to contact us with any case-by-case questions.

Please respond to any automated late sanction emails regarding service hours so that we can extend your due date.

Best,

The Staff of the Office of Student Standards and Conduct

We would like to welcome you to the Office of Student Standards and Conduct (OSSC) website. We hope that this site serves as a resource to assist students, faculty, staff, and members of the community in working with our office.

If you have witnessed a student violating the Code of Student Life, complete the Public Reporting Form to make our staff aware of the situation.

Resident Assistants (RA’s) and Coordinators for Resident Education (CRE’s) should go to Symplicity Advocate to submit a report.
